Pre Engineering
Introduction
Internal Examinations
Kent College has evolved an Examination System which is a combination of traditional methods of testing and the modern requirements of the present era.
Our Pre-Engineering program incorporates regular internal examinations throughout the academic term to assess students’ understanding of key concepts and monitor their progress.
Internal examinations cover a range of topics within the pre-engineering curriculum, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering fundamentals, providing a comprehensive evaluation of students’ knowledge and skills.
These assessments are designed not only to gauge academic performance but also to provide valuable feedback to students, enabling them to identify areas for improvement and refine their understanding of complex engineering principles.
The session is divided into three terms. Proper Examinations are held in each term with a different seating arrangement. The papers are set to conform to the BIEK paper pattern. In each term the students are required to appear in minimum two Quizzes and submit two Assignments per subject. Following is the weightage of the Term examination:
- Quizzes 20%
- Assignments 10%
- Examination 70%
The results are promptly compiled and top ten achievers of Commerce, Pre-Engineering and Pre- Medical are announced in the morning assembly.
